According to a new survey conducted by Green Mountain Coffee, 53% of Americans would rather give up their CELL PHONE than their MORNING CUPPA JOE. (I am one of those people...gimme my coffee but g'ahead and take my cellie..just keep yer hands off of Facebook!)
To further prove our lust for coffee:
- 33 percent believe they need coffee every day -- and on average drink 2.6 cups per day.
- 29 percent would give up their car before giving up coffee.
- And, a frightening 36 percent of those surveyed would give up their pet just to keep coffee in their life.
