Things I Love Thursday: The Derby Edition!
And welcome back to the show...
This weekend, I make the trip up to Croghan, NY, near Watertown, to participate in my first roller derby bout.
I'm not rostered to a team at RCRD since I was injured, so now that I'm back on skates, I'm going to make the journey to get me some derby action.
(My skates! Pre-broken ankle, of course...)
You'll be happy to know, I feel so nervous that I want to puke.
I always get butterflies before a big "game" or anything like that.
But I have some new equipment that I'm stoked to put to the test!
And enter, the new mouthgaurd and Gumball toe stops. (The moustache bag is a gift from my little sister :D)
I'm off to play in the Rumble in the Boonies II bout on Saturday.
