Steve is the epitome of the lifelong broadcaster. As a boy, he would listen to Red Sox games on his transistor radio under his pillow each night while trying to go to sleep…hoping to someday be their play-by-play announcer. His radio career began as a teenager at a small station in his suburban Boston hometown. While studying at Emerson College, he worked summers at WHDH in Boston. Upon graduating, he earned his first full-time gig at that station.

In 1987, his career brought him to Rochester and, though there have been a few stops since, including a ten-year stint as weekend sports anchor at WHEC-TV10, Steve has found a home at WBEE where he has worked since 2001 and since December 2004 as Co-Host of The BEE Morning Coffee Club.

In his ‘down’ time, Steve loves to cook, travel and spend time with his wife, Julie. They live in Brighton. Their son, Stevie, attends and teaches at Temple University in Philadelphia where he is pursuing his PhD in American History.
